Open your encrypted vault

Use a separate offline passphrase of at least 16 characters. It cannot be reset; keep it somewhere safe.

Encrypted recovery

Recovery copies contain ciphertext and still require the original passphrase. Import never replaces an existing local vault.

Set up offline access

Sign in online first. An organization owner must allow offline storage, and the server rollout must be enabled. Creating a vault downloads a bounded working set of entities and recent events.

Records and edits are encrypted at rest. The vault locks when this tab is hidden or after five minutes of inactivity. A compromised browser or active malicious script can access an unlocked vault. Remote revocation is enforced on reconnect; disconnected access ends with the seven-day lease.
